I suggest omitting 'authoritative="true"' for stems. I have not tested it.

When I was writing, I realized that a hierarchy of objects needs to be
de-provisioned accordingly. There really isn't anything in spml which
defines a hierarchy, and neither do the data sources in the attribute
resolver. So, this needs some thinking.
