Hey,

 

I signed up for amazon ec2 and got Grouper running there (apache, ssl, tomcat, java6, mysql, gsh, ui, ws, client, loader).  It costs approx $500/year for a dedicated instance.  Also, it is $2/day for a non dedicated instance.  So I think this can be useful to use in development for a little while if you don’t have a server to use.  Or in prod for whatever reason if you like (granted there are disadvantages, it is up to you).  Finally, this is yet another quick start manual, but it goes full cycle from a basic linux install.  Enjoy!  J

Ps. Btw, I got a domain name and SSL cert for 1 year from godaddy for $14 total, worked just fine in ec2.
