Hi,

 

I’ve been working with Ldappc for the past few weeks, and have been able to successfully provision a small number of groups.  However, I tried provisioning a larger number of groups today (~1000), some containing a large number of members (~35,000) and I noticed that only about 150 of my groups actually provisioned.  The remaining groups were not imported.  Also, I get hundreds of the following two errors:

 

2008-11-05 16:19:20,680: [edu.internet2.middleware.ldappc.synchronize.GroupEntrySynchronizer] GROUP[[ DISPLAY NAME = University of California Los Angeles:Employee:Everybody][NAME = ucla:employee:everybody][UID = 172636ag-e9kf-2l96-iprf-62ag3r83f204]] :: javax.naming.CommunicationException: Broken pipe [Root exception is java.net.SocketException: Broken pipe]; remaining name 'cn=ucla:employee:everybody,ou=grouper,dc=edtest,dc=ucla,dc=edu'

 

[856] javax.naming.CommunicationException: Broken pipe [Root exception is java.net.SocketException: Broken pipe]; remaining name 'cn=ucla:employee:1039:3928:3083:4732:everybody,ou=grouper,dc=edtest,dc=ucla,dc=edu'

 

The logs also showed the following:

 

2008-11-05 17:11:08,416: [edu.internet2.middleware.ldappc.LdappcGrouperProvisioner] Grouper Provision Failed: Non-fatal errors occurred processing the groups for ou=grouper,dc=edtest,dc=ucla,dc=edu

 

A FATAL ERROR occurred when running Ldappc. 

 

I am unsure of what is happening.  Has anyone else encountered this problem or these errors?
