Sigh. My error.

I did forget to have the user go "register" first.
They have done that and are now able to use the demo server. :)

Sorry for the noise.

But I will add...

It would be a good idea if that grouper error page could know that "external
registration" is enabled, and for "UnknownSubject" errors that a link to the
registration process could be included on the page.

point and then something broke, so I'll let them decide how they want to sort
