NO I think that’s it, thanks. So to clarify, running the installer in non-interactive mode and having tomcat turned of, allows it to patch itself if/when applicable?

It sort of does that, if you run it in non interactive mode, and turn off tomcat before, and turn on after, then it will patch if available… or do you want something different or an example?

Chris,

 

Is it possible to allow the grouper installer to detect a new version and update itself? For those of us that create patches via the installer, this would be specially handy as fixes and features become available.

You might want to download the patch creator when making patches, especially while we are getting started with it.  Fixed an issue
