My understanding is that grouper 2.2.1 does not have this issue.  We have a 
patch which will be out shortly that solves a related but slightly different 
problem that might help too.  Can you start planning your upgrade now and let 
us know how it goes?

Applications Connected to grouper:Office Of Information Technology:Enterprise 
Applications& Services:Identity Management Group:Enterprise Guest

Group Path Name should be changed to  after department name change but stayed

We are currently are using 2.2.0. I beleive we first need to upgrade gruouper 
to 2.2.1 and then patch.  am i correct?

We are willing to upgrade  upgrade to latest patched version of 2.2.1 in any 
case
