If you want them different, you can check the checkbox…

I was thinking simplistically to just populate the text box with the value from the name.  should the user move to the ID field and fill in a different value - use that value.  I was hoping it keeps it simple looking and intuitive.  i do appreciate the checkbox approach but it does complicate the UI.  i leave it to your good judgment.  Either way, i’m good.
