You need to specify a regex in the grouper.properties which will apply to all groups (admin UI, lite UI, WS, GSH, etc) that is restrictive enough for all your downstream systems...

Hi,

When creating groups using the Admin UI, there are un-allowed characters in the ID (i.e. "<>/*' and space), however these characters are allowed when creating groups using the Lite UI.

 

This proves to be problematic when synching ID to AD since some of these characters are not allowed in the sAMAccountName.
