Using either ant or maven can be a hassle.

Using both ant and maven is certainly a hassle.

Using all three, ant, maven, and the maven-antrun-plugin will either
be more or less of a hassle, my guess was more.

Personally, after looking at the maven-antrun-plugin, I decided I
would not go down that path, in preference for the "standardization"
that maven encourages.
