Leif mentioned this project (which is supported by the large European GÉANT project) at the I2MM Grouper WG.
VOOT is a very simple protocol for cross-domain read-access to groups.
It is using OAuth, and is on purpose designed to be a small subset of
OpenSocial 1.1.
Could be of interest to Grouper.
