As we discussed, Grouper 1.7 is an internal, less formally supported release that Penn will use for external subject management. 

 

Other stuff included:

 

-          Rules:

-          Probably more stuff, that all the major things I recall at this point…

 

Grouper 2.0 will be the official release that has all the 1.7 stuff around april.

 

Anyways, 1.7 is branched, tagged (candidate, not final), and all API tests finally pass (thanks to Shilen for help there, we fixed 100 of 2000 tests which were failing).  This work will make the 2.0 release a lot easier.  We aren’t quite ready to say 1.7 is done, but its getting there… J  I upgraded Penn in our test env from 1.6 to 1.7, and so far so good.
