Ok, postgres is now a first class citizen again.  I fixed the issues that I 
found (still haven't run all unit tests though).  I did an upgrade from 1.4 
quickstart and it worked fine.  So Jim, please wait 2 hours for the commit to 
propagate to the anonymous cvs (if that is where you are getting it from), 
build, and upgrade, and let me know how it goes.
