Hey,
Based on the last Paccman call, and since we use the term "privilege" for
classes and methods involving internal grouper privileges, I will call the
thing that is assigned for Grouper Privilege Management a "permission". This
isn't to say what it will be called on UI's or documentation or whatever, but
for the API (classes/methods), a privilege is and will be the builtin Grouper
thing (READ or UPDATE on a group), and a permission is something that you
define to assign to a role or membership in a role. Also, this isn't to say
that grouper privileges will never be modeled as permissions... :)
Is there any discussion on this topic?
Let me know asap
Thanks,
Chris
