I've been looking at what you've done with the web services during the past couple of days and everything looks great so far to me.  I have it deployed on a test box and enabled it to use Duke's authentication system simply by using mod_authnz_ldap for now.  I did notice that all modifications made to Grouper are done by GrouperSystem rather than the authenticated user.  I'm assuming that will change, right?  I see that there's some code that's commented out in GrouperServiceJ2ee.retrieveUserPrincipalNameFromRequest() that will do what I'm expecting it to do.

It's really exciting to see the progress being made with the web service support.  I already have a few cases where I'd like to start using web services fairly soon.

Thanks!

1.       Check them out to see if your use cases will fit what the services/inputs/outputs support
2.       Let me know if you want to me an early adopter… you can start using them sometime soon.  They will change in small ways fyi, the longer you wait the more stable.  Let me know your schedule
