Announcing: Grouper Release 2.2!

Internet2 is pleased to announce the release of Grouper v2.2, which includes a reimagined Grouper User Interface,  including much-improved ease of use, mobile-friendly features, the use of "favorites," easy tracking of all the groups an individual belongs to, and more. In addition, the new Grouper UI uses responsive web design, reducing barriers for people with disabilities.

Other significant new Grouper v2.2 features include configuration overlay files for easier deployment and upgrading, integration with System for Cross-domain Identity Management (SCIM), and the ability to tag folders and groups to create "services" in Grouper.

"We thank the many members of the Grouper user community who provided valuable input over the past year, as we gathered requirements for the enhanced Grouper user interface, and who performed testing. The Grouper team looks forward to receiving feedback and user stories from campuses deploying Grouper," said Tom Barton, Senior Director of IT Architecture & Integration and CISO at University of Chicago, and chair of the Grouper Project.
