This is interesting. UH GENI rack is also interested in using DYNES infrastructure to combine connectivity with GENI/I2/DYNES.

Is there a process outlined somewhere?

What would be the VLAN mappings to enable such a capability?

Does DYNES support staff help with the setup of DYNES nodes to enable this?

Thanks,

Deniz

PS: including dynes, ExoGENI-UH, and GENI-ORCA lists – apologies if not relevant.

Sadly, our rack is still isolated from the rest of ExoGENI. How is that ION connection coming along? Anything I can do to help?

Christoph, as you know (since you're cc-ed on the request), we're waiting for CENIC to do their part in configuring the Vlans facing Internet2's ION layer 2 service. We're waiting for authorization to draw the Vlans directly to their upstream interface.
