Hi Brian,
More practically, I have questions about DYNES as a service that don't seem
to have an answer from any of our folks internally:
1) How does one obtain an account on the DYNES server and begin using Dynes?
2) Will the accounts be LDAP enabled or is it a local account that must be
setup on the server?
Forgive me, the individual who was lead on this left back in February and
this project got passed to my department (enterprise infrastructure).
Our network team was instrumental in getting the DYNES equipment on line, but
they would not be the ones who will administrate the system and assist with
user logins, file transfers, general questions, etc.
Is there a step by step admin guide we can use (as in, step 1, login to the
VM on the DYNES physical host, setup a user, test functionality, confirm data
transfer is working, etc)?
This would provide the best way for us to wrap a service around the product
and create and modify internal docs that any of my admins can use.
Some of the links in the DYNES documentation wiki are dead, or lead to other
projects (OSCARS, for example) which are used, but not specific to DYNES.
Any help you can provide would be appreciated.
Thanks,
Jim Barr

Charles,
No one here knows of a specific checklist. Is there any more detail you can
provide?
Thanks,
