Hi Jesse,

Sorry for not replying soon - I was on vacation last week.

I don't know how they plan to implement. I strongly encouraged them to
implement as they do SPF checks today, which is as a ruleset, which would
give us the most flexibility within the policy engine. Being able to sign
messages via policy would be ideal as well, but I don't think they're even
considering the signing aspects yet.

Thanks. That's more information than I got when I contacted Sophos
directly.

Do you know how exactly they plan to support it? Are they just going to
use DKIM as part of the spam classification? Or will they let you use
the DKIM results in a sieve rule to, for example, add a header with the
results?

My current plan is to install dkim-milter on our inbound MTAs and have
it add the results to a header. Then I'll modify the web client to
indicate the DKIM results to the user. I've already implemented this
for S/MIME signatures, and it's working very well. If PureMessage can
be used in place of dkim-milter, it will make this a lot easier to
implement.
