I'm very sorry for the late notice on this, but so it goes.

At IETF 74 we will again be meeting to discuss the DDX activity (https://spaces.internet2.edu/display/ddx/DKIM+Deployment as everyone here should know). The meeting will be at the Hilton, room TBD, from 2PM to 5PM on Sunday March 22, the day before IETF proper.

The list has obviously been pretty quiet since the last IETF, but some places have been keeping the wheels turning getting set up to do some testing. There have also been some vendor contacts about DKIM support in the products people are using for message processing (eg Sophos PureMessage). So we will touch base on these things, trying to move forward to actual flowing bits between sites.

I think there is still quite a bit to do to figure out what the DKIM value proposition (as the marketeers say) for the busy email admins who we are hoping will participate here. I am trying to write up some stuff on this.

The DKIM WG is meeting at this IETF on Wednesday morning. I'm hoping that some of the WG participants who will be in SF can find time to stop by at the Sunday meeting. In particular there has been an extended and rather divisive discussion on the DKIM list in the last couple of months regarding what it actually does and how it will work with ADSP that as far as I can tell centers on notions of user and organizational identity that are likely to be of interest to us university deployers. It would be great to get some explanation of that situation from some DKIMsters (probably we need at least two ...).

Serge has posted his mailing list issues, I'm hoping we can spend some time on those too.

Hope to see folks there. Let me know if you intend to attend so we can make sure the room is big enough. I apologize to those who might have wanted to be there but need more notice. Hopefully we can rev up some interest and perhaps try to connect via telephone conf call soon.
