Greetings,

Registration for the upcoming Internet2 Focused Technical Workshop: International OpenFlow/SDN Testbeds, hosted by Florida International University (FIU) from March 31-April 2, 2015 in Miami, Florida, is now OPEN. This multi-day workshop will bring together network, software, and data management experts to discuss International OpenFlow/SDN Testbeds.

The goal of the workshop is to initiate an active dialogue among those supporting and planning OpenFlow/SDN testbeds. Possible outcomes include developing best practices for specific challenge areas; expanding community knowledge base (through shared experiences and brainstorming on challenges and possible solutions); and establishing longer-term relationship building in motion. The workshop intends to provide broad, concrete, technical, immediately useful tools, and resources for improved testbed development and operations.

The PROGRAM — which will be posted by March 9 — includes a mix of invited and selected talks, with attendees from the US and around the world. Details on the workshop, including REGISTRATION, Travel Information, and the Call-For-Proposals can be found at:

While the program is nearly complete, we would consider proposals of interest — please submit details at http://meetings.internet2.edu/2015-ftw-international-openflow-sdn-testbeds/call-participation-0331/ at your earliest opportunity; unfortunately, once the program is finalized, we may not be able to consider your material.

Sincerely,

Julio Ibarra (chair)
Eric Boyd (Internet2 staff liaison)
