Subject: FTW: International OpenFlow/SDN Testbeds — CALL FOR PARTICIIPATION

Greetings,

Please consider a submitting a proposal for the upcoming Internet2 Focused Technical Workshop: International OpenFlow/SDN Testbeds. The workshop will be hosted by Florida International University (FIU) from March 31-April 2, 2015 in Miami, Florida. This multi-day workshop will bring together network, software, and data management experts to discuss International OpenFlow/SDN Testbeds.  To submit a proposal, please visit the Call for Participation page of this Focused Technical Workshop at http://meetings.internet2.edu/2015-ftw-international-openflow-sdn-testbeds/call-participation-0331/

The goal of the workshop is to initiate an active dialogue among those supporting and planning OpenFlow/SDN testbeds. Possible outcomes include developing best practices for specific challenge areas; expanding community knowledge base (through shared experiences and brainstorming on challenges and possible solutions); and establishing longer-term relationship building in motion. The workshop also hopes to provide broad, concrete, technical, immediately useful tools, and resources for improved testbed development and operations.

We intend to have a series of invited and selected talks at the workshop, with attendees from the US and around the world. Details on the workshop and the Call-For-Proposals can be found at:

(Please note: the proposal submission process requires users to “sign-in” to the website with their organization’s SITEID before gaining access.) We look forward to your participation and your proposals.

Sincerely,

Julio Ibarra (chair)
Eric Boyd (Internet2 staff liaison)
