and data management experts with scientists from the international climate
community.

The goal of the workshop is to initiate an active dialogue among climate
scientists, climate data managers, and cyberinfrastructure engineers with
the goal of setting longer-term relationship building in motion. The
workshop also hopes to provide climate researchers with broad, concrete,
technical, immediately useful tools, and resources for improved data
transport and management.

SUBMISSIONS:
The program committee is seeking presentation proposals for these focus
areas:

forensics, network connect)
· Software (Data transfer, workflow management systems, Earth System
Grid Federation)
Focus Area #2: Scientific Drivers
· Process of science
· Past, present, future outcomes
· Event horizon for change (e.g. new technology and processes that
will be a fundamental change?)
Focus Area #3: Facility Overviews
· Trends in data scale
· Infrastructure deployment plans
