Hello all,

Sometime in the next 6 weeks or so, you will receive an email from the
NSF, possibly research.gov, requesting some basic demographic
information.  This is information that used to get submitted with our
annual report, but for reasons understandable only to the U.S.
government, rather than have that information submitted by the grantee,
the grantee will submit names and contact information and the government
will go ask for the information directly from the individual.  This is
somehow supposed to be privacy-preserving.

In any case, please do what the nice funding agency says when they send
the email asking for information they already have on file on you in the
earlier system.
