Here's my proposal for dealing with CO-70 & CO-374...
(1) No "Back" buttons, ever. If you want to go back, use your browser's
conveniently located Back button. Let's toss all Back buttons.
(2) All "Cancel" buttons become "Reset" buttons (as in the classic form
functionality of undoing what you started to do). The current page
location does not change, so we don't need to worry about flows.
(Obviously this doesn't apply to jquery popups.)
(3) All "Reset" buttons are always located immediately next to the
corresponding "Save" button. Not on the top of the page, not in the
sidebar.
So basically, navigation is done via the browser or the drop down menus. (Redirect on Save continues to work pretty much the way it does now.)
Thoughts?
