Hi Heather-

I have not had a chance for the demo.  Yet.

We decided to do something different for "phase 1" because of tight time
constraints (December).

But, last week, that got postponed until May, so we now have some
breathing room.

We are mired by the fact that in the near-term, we are bound to an
existing accounting system at our HPC site and they insist on everyone
having one of their local accounts.  So, a new identity registry, group
mgmt. system, and way of onboarding users is not something they want to
hear right now, but we are focused on that being the long-term goal.
Short-term, they just agreed to work towards binding external/federated
IDs to their local accounts, so we're making progress, but not there yet.

So, a demo is still important to me, but the timing is now uncertain.  I
want to find a time where me (or one of you all, perhaps) can do a
brief demo for some of our researchers.  We recently had a call with
them (an advisory group for so-called "ease of use"), but we were
discussing other things (app capabilities, invitation, social IDs, etc).
 The next call might be a good time, but I don't think we have scheduled
it yet.

So, I'll let you know how it's going and if we can get a demo setup, but
nothing much has happened yet - just a little derailment.  ;)
