Click on Add and it will take you to the form to add a new email.  Click on Add again and it will take you back to the starting page with the email tab open.  Tada!  

Upon further thought, given that passing the variables around is such a pain and I had to do a custom performRedirect() in each controller anyway, it seemed like a simpler solution to just skip the passing and have the magic happen mostly in performRedirect() and jquery in copeople/fields.inc.
