Perhaps you could take a look at CO-171 (Extended Attributes fail on 
demo)? I get the sense this is another adodb/mysql type issue, so it 
might be easy for you to reproduce in your dev environment.

I see it's already assigned to Marie, perhaps she can take CO-151 (COU 
Admin trumps CMP Admin) instead (since it is similar to the authz poking 
around from CO-172).
