**Discussion**

Michael has requested a new VM to run DimDim, awaiting it to proceed  
with this piece.


Updates:

- new user registration workflow, including how windows open and close.

- improved interactions with Dimdim

- overcoming Bedework installation challenges, before getting to the  
integration piece

- Sympa now working

- DemoCO using the Confluence calendar until Bedework is ready

- Documentation is under way


Bedework is a maybe for 14-Sep, and if Michael can get the VM today he  
can likely have DimDim done by early next week.


The question arose of group scheduling functionality like Foodle, i.e.  
proposing meeting times, using Bedework. It appears that this may be  
possible, pending further investigation. If this is doable, it would  
be a useful piece of the demo for the meeting 14-Sep.


[AI] (Ken) will document proposed scenarios for COmanage capabilities,  
for deployment in 2010.


Q: are there other apps that VOs are dependent upon, that we ought to  
be looking at?

A: Von is looking at deploying a CA that would inhale your identity  
and exhale a cert a user would take back to the VO. How could COmanage  
fit in this scenario? Where would certs be stored?


Ken is working on a use case for the Tao of Attributes workshop using

The fabled "IEEE problem" also arose as a factor in a possible  
relevant use case.


Steven proposed a GENI use case relating to a PI delegating resource  
access to TAs and students based upon enrollment in a course.
