Greetings

Thank you again for participating in the Fall 2008 Internet2 Member Meeting in New Orleans, Louisiana.  Below are important details related to the session in which you are participating.   Please review your session at the following link http://events.internet2.edu/2008/fall-mm/agenda.cfm?event=911&day=&track=&details=on .  If any of your speakers are not listed on this email, please forward this to them as soon as possible.  Your track session entitled COmanage – Infrastructure for All Sizes on Wednesday, October 15 from 4:30PM-5:30PM will take place in Oak Alley at the Sheraton New Orleans.

Unless otherwise requested, each room will have one network drop for the speaker and wireless access.  The SSID for wireless usage is Internet2.  The audio-visual and other equipment requested for your session is listed below.

>  AV Requests: (1) LCD Projector (1) LCD Support Package (screen, power, projector table) (1) Powerstrip at Podium (1) Podium Mic (1) Powerstrip at Head Table (1) Wired Table Mics at Head Table for (2)

**** Be aware that there may be other equipment in the room not specifically ordered for your session. The hotel will often set up the room at the beginning of the day to cover all the sessions that day ****

Other Instructions/Information to be aware of: None

1) If you are an on-site speaker are you pre-registered for the conference (NOTE:  Remote presenters are not required to register)?  This will save you time at the Registration Desk.  Please note that we do ask that all our on-site speakers register and pay the registration fee.  You can check this link http://events.internet2.edu/2008/fall-mm/roster.cfm to see if you have already registered.  If you and/or your on-site co-presenters are NOT already registered you can do so at the following link http://events.internet2.edu/2008/fall-mm/registrationintro.html .  If you are not pre-registered, please visit the On-Site Registration line at the Registration Desk to register and to pick up your conference materials and gift.

2) Please arrive at your session room 15 minutes prior to start of session to ensure a timely start.

3) There will be an Internet2 designated room monitor in your session.  This person will introduce himself/herself to you prior to the beginning of your session.  They can help you with technology/equipment/room temperature problems, etc.  If you run into any logistical problems before, during or after your session please pass those on to the room monitor.  This person will quickly contact Internet2 staff to rectify the problem.  Upon request, your room monitor can also help you to keep time.  It is important to begin/end your session on time.  Thank you.

4) If you have not already done so, please send your final presentations to as soon as possible.  To ensure accurate posting, please be sure to include your full name, title of track session/presentation and date/time of your session.

5) As a token of our appreciation, we have a thank you gift for our on-site speakers.  Upon arrival, please visit the Internet2 Registration Desk to check-in or register, if you have not already done so.  You will receive your name badge and conference materials at this time.  In addition, there will be a ticket in your badge which may be redeemed at the Registration Desk for your gift.

As always, during the meeting, you can find assistance at the Registration Desk located in the Napoleon Foyer on the 3rd Floor.  Registration hours are posted on line.  If you have any additional questions/concerns before you reach New Orleans, please feel free to contact me.  We look forward to seeing you in New Orleans.
