COmanage News and Announcements

Internet2 and the COmanage Project are pleased to announce the release
of COmanage Registry version 2.0.0. (This release was formerly
identified as 1.1.0, and some documentation that has not yet been
updated may still refer to it as such.) This release is a feature
release, introducing several new capabilities, including

- Organizational Identity Sources and Pipelines
- ORCID Integration
- LDAP Schema Plugins
- Services and Service Portal, and Service Tokens
- Population-Specific Provisioning
- Themes
- Message Templates
- Attribute Enumerations
- Identifier Validation
- Authentication Events

We do not expect to further evolve the 1.x series, and as such we
recommend all deployments begin planning to upgrade to this release. Be
sure to read the upgrading notes (https://spaces.internet2.edu/x/oYMQBg)
for important considerations when upgrading to this release. Deployments
on 1.0.0 or later may upgrade directly to this release. Deployments on
earlier versions must follow the previously described upgrade paths to
1.0.0 before upgrading.
