Dear CLASS Community, some interesting (and fun) events are coming up that require your action and participation!

NEWS

Registration closes tomorrow, 04/13/22 for the Fundamentals of Life Science Tools on Google Cloud hands-on sprint! This 6-hour hands on session is held specially for Internet2/CLASS and is usually open only for NIH/STRIDES participants. Limited space is still available!

The CLASS bi-weekly office hours starts on 4/14/22! Office hours will be held every other Thursday 12pm PT/3pm ET. Bring your questions, or if you have a specific cloud-provider question, and we will schedule office hours with the vendor!

Jerry Morey of Microsoft Azure will be presenting how to “Make the Most of Azure Spot Instances” on 5/18/22. Attendees will receive $200 in Azure Credits to help them get started on the Azure cloud. Please invite your colleagues who may be interested or can benefit from this.

The CLASS Essentials for GCP and AWS will be happening on May 17 and May 26 respectively! Registration information will be available soon. This is a great opportunity to help your colleagues and campus collaborators get onboarded to cloud fundamentals for research! Participants in this program will become part of the CLASS community and have access to some fantastic upcoming events including an accelerator program.
