CLASS Community,
I know it’s a bit out there, but Matthew is looking for feedback for a workshop that combines containerized workflows, local and cloud resources, and a bit of API/automation goodness (who can resist Python?). The link contained within has materials worth looking at if you are in the HTCondor (distributed HTC) space (HTCondor speaks cloud).
Regards,
Tim.
p.s. I think Matthew is considering a K8 angle.

From:
West, Matthew <>
I am working on a proposal to host the autumn 2023 HTCondor workshop in Manchester UK and am reaching out to a wide variety of groups to gauge interest in the material. Presentations from previous events can be found
here <https://research.cs.wisc.edu/htcondor/past_condor_weeks.html>.
My hope is to make this meeting welcoming to those in the HPC and Cloud communities as part of a general effort of fostering cross platform learning and collaboration. If anyone is interested in learning more about distributed high-throughput computing (dHTC), please feel free to contact me . Also for those folks who do work on an HTCondor system or related distributed technologies, I would like to hear from you as well.
Thanks and best regards Matthew West
