Dear CLASS Community, please join us for some exciting events this summer!

NEWS

The 6th of Cohort CLASS Advanced wrapped up their final projects on May 10. The cohort worked on two large-scale projects this time around: (1) Using Infrastructure-as-Code to quickly and repeatably build out a qualification/test environment for newly hosted interconnects with AWS and GCP, and (2) Building an AI/ML workflow using Terraform, Kubernetes, and cloud-native machine learning environments on AWS and GCP. The cohort also continued building on work from previous cohorts' projects.

The inaugural “What’s Up in the Cloud?” webinar series was a huge success, with over 100 attendees. Talks on AI, cloud security, national cloud resources, and HPC/cloud bursting were featured. You can find recordings of the sessions here. CLASS will convene another cloud webinar series in the Fall.

Join us on June 5 to learn how GitHub Copilot can be used to analyze and visualize data, create documentation, and customize it to provide contextual information on datasets.
