Below is a reminder about the Technology Exchange Call for Proposals deadline. You may not realize or acknowledge it, but you are doing great work. Others can learn from you. Consider jumping into the conversation and sharing your knowledge. Please take a moment to read a couple of points before deciding whether to delete this email or read on:

• I do not speak for the I2 Events team, but , as an organization, Internet2 is trying to be adaptable to help schools deal with the impacts of the budget crunch. It is not impossible that they will come up with creative solutions to those dealing with travel constraints. They are already offering reduced admission for speakers, but I acknowledge that doesn’t help when you can’t travel at all. That stipulated, I would encourage you to submit your proposal(s) anyway. The worst that could happen is you have to decline an invitation. Please consider submitting an idea or two and we’ll see how things shake out.
• While today is the deadline, I have it on good authority that they are going to let that slide through the weekend. Just get it in by Sunday night.

The 2025 Internet2 Technology Exchange (TechEX25) is where the research and education community gathers to tackle today’s most pressing tech challenges, and your voice can help lead the conversation.

 

We’ve expanded submission types this year to make it easier for more community members to participate. From talks to tutorials, posters, and working meetings, your insights can drive collaboration and spark progress across:

• Identity & Access Management
• Information Security

 

Proposals are due by Friday, May 9.

Accepted speakers will receive a reduced registration rate when registration opens in June.
