I hope you all had a relaxing, healthy, and enjoyable holiday break. Part of me is ready to get back into action and part of me is ready to get back into bed. Be that as it may, it’s time to rock 2025 and we are going to shoot out of the gate with an open webinar with the AWS team to talk about the very sexy topic of NIH NOT-OD-24-157. I mean Data Management and Access Practices Under the Genomic Data Sharing Policy, come on! OK, I mean no disrespect to those for whom this is serious business, because CUI is important. (And I can’t have Nick Weber mad at me.)
Whether you work in the cloud or not, whether you work in Genomics or not, data handling and security is important to everyone. This presentation is for those responsible for Enterprise IT, Security and Compliance, Research IT, Research Computing and Data professionals, researchers, and those who support researchers using, collecting, analyzing, and sharing genomic and biomedical research data. Please share this with your colleagues to whom this requirement may apply.
