Before I start hitting your calendars with any more holiday/year-end changes I wanted to send you a quick explanation of what’s at work.

Tech Shares – We had our regularly scheduled NET+ AWS Tech Share earlier today. The next one would fall during Thanksgiving week and the one after that during Internet2’s Technology Exchange conference. We are going to push those each back a week so that they will now fall December 4 (you can attend over breakfast if you are at re:Invent, or just catch up with Kevin there) and December 18. Look for updated invitations.

These two tech shares will be the last two on your calendar for 2024. I let the standing meeting series lapse at the end of each year because the meeting invitation gets a little crufty along the way. I’ll get a freshie out to you before you but out for the holidays. We’ll start up again on Wednesday, January 8. Everyone should plan to bring the IoT devices that Santa brings them for show and tell.

Tech Jam – Also on December 18 (11am PT/2pm ET) will be the highly-anticipated annual Miracle Murakoshi’s re:Markable re:Invent re:Cap. I’ll also send out an invitation for that.Keynote Watch Parties: Speaking of re:Invent, each year we host real-time watch parties for the re:Invent main and developers’ keynotes over on the CCCG Slack workspace (#cloud-watch-parties channel). We play keynote keyword bingo. There are prizes, AWS swag. You get a virtual bingo card, watch along, mark off the buzzwords as they come, win fame, glory and swag.
