We are excited to have you join us for the upcoming Azure Open AI workshop(03/04/2024). To ensure that you have a smooth and productive experience, we would like to share with you a list of pre-requisites that you should prepare for before the workshop.

  • Owner or Contributor access in an Azure subscription.
  • Access to Azure OpenAI in the subscription.
  • Apply for access here:  https://aka.ms/oai/access 
  • Only use your institution/organization email. Do NOT use a personal email address (e.g. @gmail.com, @hotmail.com, etc.)  
We will create the OpenAI Service together during the workshop.  If you create ahead of time, be sure to use East US. IDE (VS Code preferable), Git, Python v3.11.5 Register following Resource Providers for the Azure Subscription (How To Register):
  • Microsoft.Search
  • Microsoft.Web
  • Microsoft.Authorization
  • Microsoft.CognitiveServices
  • Microsoft.ManagedIdentity
  • Microsoft.KeyVault
  • Microsoft.Storage
  • Microsoft.Insights
  • Microsoft.Logic
